JKBOSE Declares Class 11 Results: 75% Students Pass Across Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu, May 24:
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced the results of the Class 11 annual examinations. A total of 1,21,764 students were enrolled this year, with 91,332 student passing the examination, bringing the overall pass percentage to a commendable 75%.
Overall Performance
This year’s results reflect a strong academic performance across various regions of Jammu and Kashmir. The pass percentages ranged from 61% to 89%, indicating positive outcomes in most zones.
Division-wise Break-up:
Distinction (75% and above): 35,714 students
First Division (60%–74%):41,330 students
Second Division (48%–59%): 13,945 students
Third Division (36%–47%): 337 students
Reappear Cases: 27,720
Failures: 2,712
Other Observations:
Disqualified Students: 4
Examination Cancelled: 52 cases
Absent Students: 53
Results Awaited: 49
Grading Criteria:
The Board follows the following grading benchmarks:
Distinction: 75% and above (minimum 370 out of 500 marks)
First Division: 60% and above (minimum 295 marks)
Second Division: 48% and above (minimum 235 marks)
Third Division: 36% and above (minimum 177 marks)
Instructions for Students:
Students who intend to appear for supplementary or improvement examinations must submit their applications within 15 days of the result declaration. The Permission-Cum-Admission Form must be duly filled and accompanied by a recent photograph and Eligibility Certificate.
