Why Blogging?

The question most frequently asked about blogging is why. What is in a blog that makes it something unique that people find attractive enough to want to write about their daily lives to the whole world? While there are many reasons bloggers do what they do, I’m looking specifically at what satisfaction is gained from it.

Many people look for ways to expand their online presence and while one of the most popular strategies is launching a blog, not everyone knows what is a blog and how to start one.

When blogs first emerged around 1994, people used them mainly to share their personal lives, including their experiences and interests. Now, blogs have become an essential online marketing strategy for businesses and one of the most profitable career choices for individuals.

The interface of blogs has changed significantly over time. Bloggers can now integrate various widgets and plugins into their platforms, such as a social media feed, a contact form, or an author profile.

The blog I have observed over the past few weeks is very much like a regular journal posted by people I follow . They talk about anything and everything they seems important enough in his life. Generally speaking, their posts about real events and thoughts on real things that happen directly in their life. Thier posts go back quite a ways too, about a year, and they posts daily. To me, this sounds almost addicting. It was at this point that I began to wonder what made blogging so addicting and questioned the enjoyment and pleasure factors that are involved. I finally emailed one of them and asked him why he blogs and who he blogs for. His answer was expected :

"Really, I just do it for myself. My thoughts have no...order, really...they're all very disjointed and random. I don't know why anyone reads mine, it's really not that good and not as interesting as some of the others out there. Though I am flattered when people tell me they do enjoy it. I also think they're crazy, but that's not the point...My friends do theirs as a journal of sorts...but I try not to write anything too incredibly personal."

When a person writes something online whether it’s a status in a single sentence, a comment on someone 's photo or post a thousand words, people are doing it, expecting that someone can read it, even if you write it anonymously. The presence of the audience makes writers to work precisely. Bloggers often tell stories about how they had an idea for a post and they sit down at the keyboard with excitement, ready to “throw out” the word inspired with an idea that someone else will be able to read the text as soon as it is published. Blogging allows them to reject the weak arguments, clichés and “lazy” automatic thinking.

History itself has always fundamentally been encompassed by the history of writing. Before writing there was no history, but ever since then writing has shaped it in complicated and far reaching ways. The progression of writing, from simply a method of counting left to the elites in society to a universal communication system that allows people to share and explain ideas, has had tremendous historical implications. With the invention of the computer, came the Internet and in turn the web log. The web log is a new platform for writers to communicate with. It can allow for a running correspondence between people complete with remarks and instant access. The question is what does this new software tool mean for the history of writing? If using a web log becomes wide spread it would result in a gradual change in the way which people write. People would base their writing on their feelings and emotions rather than logical arguments. However, despite all the irrational statements, the exposure to other people's ideas would stimulate debate about controversial issues and help people understand the details about complex topics so that they could better formulate their own opinions. Despite any immediate accessibility to web logs, changes like this are not going to happen over night. It will take time and people will have to change their habits, but it could happen.

I found blog writing interesting To Spend the Free time and by the side you can improve your learning, writing capacity and exploring things are some things which are on the top priority in my Life.
